Yay for Saturdays and yay for freebies!
Today I’m going to just get right to it.
Here are my top 5 Primary Freebies of the week.
I don’t know about you, but I am ALWAYS on the lookout for fun, engaging things for my fast finishers to do. I really like this pack for those students because it will hopefully change them to be creative and try different types of writing. I think that this would be most useful for second graders, but I’m sure some first graders could use these as well. Don’t forget to check out Brenda Martin‘s other fabulous resources!
This freebie is sheer contraction GENIUS from Silly Sam Productions. I always teach my students that the apostrophe takes the place of the letter/letters you remove, but showing it with two colors is so simple and smart!
This adorable free center game from Teach With Laughter would be great practice for kindergarteners. It would also be very helpful for first graders at the beginning of the year. Students have to fix the “boo-boo” and put the correct bandaid over the wrong number. What a great way to practice number order!
I have to tell you, I loveteaching syllables because it’s fun and students almost always “get it”. This adorable freebie from Vicky Moore gives you syllable practice for the whole year! I absolutely love everything Vicky makes, and I bet you will too! 🙂
Has the Valentine’s Day bug bit you? What about the Common Core bug? Well then this cute freebie from Practice Makes Perfect is just for you. My kiddos absolutely LOVED learning about true and false addition and subtraction sentences, and I’m sure they’d <3 this game as well.
