Anchor Charts and Posters

I love anchor charts. I especially love anchor charts that are fun, creative, and unique! My dad has access to a really big printer, so I sent him some anchor charts I designed and he printed them out for me. Here are a few of my favorites. 🙂

Instead of Said Anchor Chart

I’ve seen many versions of “other ways to say said” posters. Since I’m going to have a tropical theme, I’m going to put a little tiki dude to the bottom left so it looks like he is saying this. 🙂

failure occurs

I’ve posted this one before, but since I finally printed it, I thought I’d post it again. This is a quote from Rafe Esquith, author of Teach Like Your Hairs on Fire and I think it’s going to be a great reminder for my students.

Multiplication Strategies

This poster was inspired by a hand-drawn pin (click on the picture to see the original pin) BUT it didn’t link anywhere, so I’m not sure who made it.

Collecting Data

If you click on the picture above, you can see the pin that inspired this poster. However, you can also see that I changed it a lot and organized the information very differently.

I hope you can use some of these ideas in your own classroom. If you’d like to see more great anchor charts,  check out my Anchor Charts Pinterest Board.

Until next time,
