The Teacher’s 12 Days of Christmas: Day 7 and a FREEBIE

It’s FRIDAY! I have a fun half day planned with my kiddos, a holiday party with my co-workers, and then I’m off! It has been a busy, but fun week.  Now, I’m ready for a fun, but relaxed (ha!) last day before break.  Also, Top 5 Freebies will be back tomorrow. Lots to look forward too!

Before I get to today’s deal, I want to show you the project my kiddos made as their parent gift. Now, I mentioned this yesterday… I HATE greatly dislike doing crafts. I am SO not crafty. I can teach you how to read all day long. Two digit addition? I’m game! Hand me a glue bottle, and it’s not normally good. Anyway I found this adorable craft {here} and thought I’d give it a try.

So here’s how we started…

Popsicle Stick Snowman 1

And then they started to line them up…

Popsicle Stick Snowman 2

And THEN there was glueing and painting and I was running around like a crazy person putting out figurative fires, so I didn’t take any more pictures…

Until we got to this point…

Popsicle Stick Snowman 3

Then I could breathe again (ha!).

They came out super cute!

And I love that they’re just “winter” and not Christmas just in case you have students who don’t celebrate.

Popsicle Stick Snowman 5

I told my kiddos they could hanging it on their fridge, a Christmas tree, or a door handle.

I also loved how much their personalities shined through!

If I could make these work, anyone can! Plus, they’re cheap! All you need is popsicle sticks, old buttons, googly eyes, and some foam. (Oh, and lots of patience 😉 )

I also had my kiddos make some cute cards to go with their gift. The original plan was to make pop up cards, BUT that didn’t happen. They still turned out really cute. Click any picture below to grab the card template for free. 🙂

I blocked out their pictures, but I used the snowman photo booth props from {here} and took pictures of each one of them. They were SO cute!

Alright, now let’s check out today’s deal!
