Top 5 Freebies of the Week 6/7/2014 PLUS a Bonus FREEBIE

Hi Friends! I am excited to share my newest pack with you!

http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FUN-NO-PREP-Happy-Handwriting-Practice-Grades-123-1268347

This back was born from necessity.

Have you ever had a student who knows how to correctly form their letters, but doesn’t always take their time and write their neatest? What about the student who often forgets capitals, punctuation, and misspells words that are right in the text?

Well, I’ve had those students too, and that’s why I came up with my happy handwriting pack. I found that these students tend to write messy or make errors because they were rushing to get done and weren’t being careful.

What would make my students take their time and be more careful?

Then, it hit me: JOKES! Kids love jokes! And Happy Handwriting was born.

My students LOVED this pack, and it helped them slow down and take their time when they were copying from anything. For example, when they went back to find text evidence, it helped them to remember to make sure the words from the text were spelled correctly.

I told you there was a bonus freebie today, and here it is! Grab a free sample from this pack by clicking on the picture below. Don’t forget to leave some love, and if you like it, purchase the full pack. 🙂

The worksheets contain cut and paste problems as well as written answers. Students are asked to explain their thinking for every standard. The cut and paste component gives students an opportunity to check their work. The explanation gives you an opportunity to see their thinking.
