Hi Friends! I am excited to share my newest pack with you!
This back was born from necessity.
Have you ever had a student who knows how to correctly form their letters, but doesn’t always take their time and write their neatest? What about the student who often forgets capitals, punctuation, and misspells words that are right in the text?
Well, I’ve had those students too, and that’s why I came up with my happy handwriting pack. I found that these students tend to write messy or make errors because they were rushing to get done and weren’t being careful.
What would make my students take their time and be more careful?
Then, it hit me: JOKES! Kids love jokes! And Happy Handwriting was born.
My students LOVED this pack, and it helped them slow down and take their time when they were copying from anything. For example, when they went back to find text evidence, it helped them to remember to make sure the words from the text were spelled correctly.
I told you there was a bonus freebie today, and here it is! Grab a free sample from this pack by clicking on the picture below. Don’t forget to leave some love, and if you like it, purchase the full pack. 🙂
If you are looking for a fun summer themed addition game, look no further than this freebie from Mrs. Roltgen! Your students will take a ride down the water slide in this fun addition game! This game is for 2-4 players. Students will move through the game board solving addition problems from 0-10. The first player to reach the pool wins! How fun is that!
For those of you still in school, here’s a great freebie from Jill Nieman! This one page worksheet will help your students reflect on their reading growth while setting realistic goals for improvement over the summer and into the next year.
Here’s a cute sight word reader from Sing with Me Sight Words. This story, “A Gift for Pat,” comes with the teacher copy of the story and 2 activities. It is perfect for first grade. Your students will love reading about this adorable puppy!
If you are looking for a cute Father’s Day card to make with your class or your child, grab this freebie from Sandra Naufal! This fish themed card is adorable and lets kids write 3 reasons why the “caught” the world’s greatest dad. 🙂
Okay, so this freebie from What I Have Learned is number one this week because, if I wasn’t on maternity leave, I would totally be using this as some FUN end of the year math review for my second graders! The worksheets contain cut and paste problems as well as written answers. Students are asked to explain their thinking for every standard. The cut and paste component gives students an opportunity to check their work. The explanation gives you an opportunity to see their thinking.
Remember to leave them some love!
