With this download, you receive a PDF with instructions on how to use the resource as well as the mystery word generator.
There are 5 options included.
The top of each option is the same and includes the letter key and space for students to write their mystery words.
At the bottom of each option, there is a bonus or extension activity.
Option 1: Rewrite all of the words.
Option 2: Pick 3 words and draw a picture of them.
Option 3: Pick 3 words and write a sentence for each.
Option 4: Make 3 of your own mystery words.
Option 5: Use the key to write a mystery message to your teacher.
The pictures for each word do not match the letter’s beginning sound in this version.
Please note: You can not change the pictures in the key. They are not editable. This activity is editable because you can add any words you’d like to add.
In order to use this activity, you need to have access to Google Sheets. It will not work in other programs.
